TESDA TURNS OVER COTABATO TRAINING CENTER TO MBHTE
TO HELP promote peace, sustainable development and economic growth in Mindanao, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority turned over the Cotabato City District Office and Provincial Training Center to the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education.
With the Bangsamoro Organic Law code in place, the MBHTE said the turnover was one of the steps in achieving a complete and integrated system of quality education.
“With this acceptance goes my assurance that every effort shall be exerted to the fruitful utilization of each and every single property and equipment. This is our commitment to the Bangsamoro people and our mandate to advance the human capital development through education and service,” Minister Mohagher Iqbal said.
“The true worth of the event is in the effective utilization of what has been turned over and it is, therefore, our inescapable duty at the MBHTE to see to it that this purpose is fulfilled,” he added.
TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña pledged to assist the Bangsamoro government in its pursuit for a higher degree of autonomy.
The MBHTE also received equipment and other important documents such as the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System and Philippine TVET Competency Assessment and Certification System.
