THE DE LA SALLE University-Dasmariñas will continue to hold online classes for the first semester of Academic Year 2021-2022.

Vice Chancellor for Academics and Research Dr. Marco Saez said that laboratory classes will be done virtually because the Commission on Higher Education does not allow mandatory in-person classes.

Saez added that laboratory classes that cannot be conducted virtually “would have to be taken as additional subjects once face-to-face is allowed.”

The final grades of students in online laboratory classes will be released “once onsite components of these classes are satisfied,” he said.

If physical classes are still not allowed, Saez said internships that cannot be fully conducted virtually would have to be taken as overload on the next semester it will be offered.

He added that the Senior High School department will also continue to implement remote learning.

“Rest assured that DLSU-D is taking into primary consideration the safety of all stakeholders and the quality of education that must be delivered in its decision,” Saez said.
