CENTRAL PHILIPPINE U HOSTS FLU VACCINATION SIMULATION
THE CENTRAL Philippine University recently hosted the vaccine simulation exercises of the Iloilo City government.
The Iloilo City Public Safety and Transportation Management Office personnel were led by Jake Conlu, along with City Mayor Jerry Treñas and members of the city’s Covid19 team.
Around 500 residents of various barangays were given flu shots in the half-day event.
Conlu said that the CPU was chosen because it has a large space and good facilities like the Rose Memorial Auditorium and the University Gym.
“There is an appropriate security and traffic system to the number of access gates around the university that we can use for health and security protocols,” he explained.
Conlu believes that the vaccine simulation activity will encourage people to be more welcoming of the Covid19 vaccine.
He said that all faculty and staff of the university will also be given free vaccines.
