LAW STUDENTS OFFERED INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
THE Association of Law Students of the Philippines offers an international internship program for would-be lawyers to help them hone their skills.
The Student Trainee Exchange Programme is an internship syllabus offered by the Asian Law Students Association International to all of its members.
ALSP Vice President for International Affairs Kenny Bayudan, the country’s representative to ALSA, said that students can have their internship in countries in Southeast Asia.
“Mostly ang partners ng STEP ay around Southeast Asia so we have in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia,” he said.
However, because of the pandemic, internships will be conducted remotely.
Under STEP, members get a chance to have their internship with members of the European Law Student Association and the Dominican Law Student Association.
ALSP has 60 partner schools and more than 10,000 members.
