UAAP SCHOOLS ALLOWED TO HOLD IN-PERSON TRAINING
Member schools of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) will be allowed to conduct in-person training, as the league aims to reopen by March 2022.
This came after the Commission on Higher Education issued a certificate of authority to the schools after complying with the requirements from concerned agencies.
According to UAAP Director Atty. Rebo Saguisag the league will resume in a bubble, in consideration of the Covid19 situation in the country.
However, according to CHED, the authority given is subject to revocation if the school fails to maintain and comply with the rules and regulations of CHED.
A ceremony led by CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera IIIand Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III was conducted.
Schools that were given the approval were the National University, University of Sto. Tomas, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, among others.
