EAC was not able to unify in their defense which paved the way for San Sebastian to get the 11-22 advantage in the first frame but the Generals closed the 11 points deficit into one at the end of the first half of the game.

But the bolt of caffeine still kicked the Stags in the third frame giving them a 41-49 lead with Ken Villapando scoring the best of 16 points for the SSC-R. 

The Generals had almost lost hope as they were on a score-for-score scheme but Robin did not disappoint the Generals and fired four treys to score 15 points in the fourth quarter, two coming from two consecutive triples that extended the lead of EAC to 63-58.

The Golden Stags did not have time to retaliate at 44.6 seconds and the efforts of Villapondo who’s the only one that scored in twin digits for the Stags went to waste as the match ended at 63-60.

Despite the good start of San Sebastian Coach Oliver Bunyi affirmed that his team did not panic and just played to what they practiced.

The Generals now sit on a 3-3 slate while the Golden Stags suffer on a 2-4 card.
