Coach Badol will surely be missed not only by his family but as well as the Bedan community and players, a lot of which now see action in the PBA.

“Sad day for the Bedan community as legendary high school basketball coach Ato Badolato passes away,” Roque wrote on Facebook.

He led the Red Cubs into a dynasty after etching 16 NCAA juniors championships.

LA Tenorio, one of the products of the multi-talented coach Ato mentored, also gave tribute to his passing.

“Will miss you Ato. Ikaw ang malaking rason bakit ako nandito sa position ko ngayon. Tatanawin ko malaking utang na loob lahat ng ginawa mo sa akin bilang isang player,” wrote Ginebra LA Tenorio.
