Tagbilaran City’s young martial arts aficionados won the World Budokan Series 3 competition, which took place in New Zealand, Malaysia, India, Macao, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Taipei.

The Gold medalists were Stiffany Mae Alvarez, Andrea Rose Abuyabor, and Dale Malcolm Edillo; Silver medalists Justie Athena Jaspe and Jerik James Suma-oy; and Bronze medalists Zackarie Señoron, Eric Albofera, and Richard Maglente. 

The team also won in the Ramon S. Franco (RSF) Online e-KATA Tournament and LUZVIMIN International Friendship Game e-KATA Tournament held last January and February.

Tagbilaran City Mayor Baba Yap complimented the team on their achievement and recognized the pride they brought to the city. They were also given cash incentives by Yap.
