UP STUDENTS, ALUMNI INVITED TO CHARITY ESPORTS TOURNEY

A fraternity from the University of Philippines College of Medicine has set up an esports tournament for the benefit of medical professionals working as Covid19 frontliners.

The Phi Kappa Mu of UP College of Medicine organized the Frontliner’s Cup, a Mobile Legends Bang Bang online tournament.

This competition will be open to current students and alumni of the University of the Philippines.

Proceeds of the online tournament will benefit the group’s Covid19 fundraiser as well as their flagship service projects such as Pagkalma: Pagkalinga sa Kalusugan ng Mamamayan, Bloodline: Mobile Blood Drives and Usapang Isipan: A Mental Health Awareness Campaign.

The prize pool for the tournament is set to P15,000 with the Qualifiers to be held on October 31 and November 1 while the Playoffs will be held on November 7 to 8 and 14 to 15.

The Qualifiers will be single elimination while the Playoffs will be double elimination, best-of-three games.

Slots are limited with a registration fee of P500.
