TNC, BOOM, FNATIC, NEON ADVANCE TO TI10 UPPER BRACKET ROUND 2

Southeast Asian Dota2 teams TNC Predator, Boom Esports, Fnatic, and OB Esports x Neon have advanced to the Upper Bracket Round 2 of The International 10 (TI10) regional qualifiers.

/ 1 July 2021

This came after the four teams bested their SEA rivals in a best of three, namely Team SMG, Execration, Omega Esports, and Motivate Trust, and sent them to the lower bracket to fight for their qualifier run.

All of the series reached a decider game three, except for the Neon versus Trust series, wherein the former dominated and closed the series in two games.

The first day of the qualifiers has also seen three teams be eliminated, namely: Army Geniuses, Team Mystery, and ex-South BuiltEsports.

Meanwhile, the upper bracket teams will have to battle it out to reach the Upper Bracket Finals and secure at least a top 3 finish at the qualifiers.

Only one team in Southeast Asia will qualify for the $40 million tournaments which will be held in Europe in August.

The other team that will represent the SEA flag is ‘T1,’ the only SEA team that garnered enough points to secure an invite to TI10.
