Blackwater Elite’s Maurice Shaw arrived in the Philippines just in time before the start of PBA Bubble Season at Clark Freeport.

With the strict implementation of health and quarantine protocols, the former Harlem Globetrotter and second overall of the 2019 PBA Draft, Shaw has to undergo 14 days quarantine as a mandatory protocol for those who flew in from overseas.

Although not being able to join the bubble with his team on Tuesday, Bossing was delighted to see the Fil-American after the strenuous work in booking a flight back in the country.

The timetable has been tight considering his end of quarantine is indeed a day before the opening day, requiring members of PBA delegations to be inside the bubble on October 10.

“October 9 daw siya makapasok,” said Blackwater coach Nash Racela.

Since the departure of big man Poy Erram in 2018, the 6-foot-8 bruiser presence will serve the desired frontcourt in the new bossing team.

Blackwater will enter the season under the supervision of Racela. With this, the veteran coach is hoping that Shaw did his own groundwork for the games.
