POLE VAULTER NATALIE UY WINS BRONZE IN THAILAND MEET
Philippines’ bet Natalie Uy finished third place in the recently concluded Golden Fly Series Phuket 2021 over the weekend.

The Filipina-American pole vaulter secured the bronze medal after clearing 4.21 meters to forge a tie with Kristen Brown of USA but she had to settle in the third spot via countback.
Meanwhile, Great Britain’s Holly Bradshaw secured the gold medal after clearing 4.51 meters.
Uy won the gold medal during the country’s hosting of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games after recording a new Games record of 4.25 meters.
The Golden Fly Series was the same tournament where Filipino Olympian EJ Obiena registered an Asian record of 5.93 meters in one of its legs in Innsbruck last September.
