PERLAS SPIKERS PLAYERS, COACH TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID19
Seven players and a coach of the Perlas Spikers Volleyball team were in isolation after testing positive for Covid19, tournament director for the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) said.

PVL tournament director Tony Boy Liao confirmed that these players are now isolated from the rest of the team.
“They will have their RT-PCR on July 6,” Liao said.
The rest of the team has stopped training, in accordance with the protocols of the Games and Amusements Board, Liao said.
The team was expected to stay in Baguio for the whole month of June before proceeding to the site of the PVL bubble.
The league is set to open its first professional season on July 17 in Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
