PBA PLANS TO FINISH ELIMINATION ROUND IN PAMPANGA
The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is planning to finish the elimination round of the All-Filipino Conference in Pampanga.
NLEX head coach Yeng Guiao said that they were told that the conference may continue in the said province.
“So we will most likely be in that bubble set up for three or four weeks because I think they will try to finish up the games at least for the elimination round in the bubble,” Guiao said in a statement.
If the elimination will push through in Pampanga then the teams should stay in the province the NLEX head coach added.
“It’s going to be a bubble set up also. We will have to look for a hotel. We need to live in the hotel, so we’ll go from hotel, venue, and practice facility. We were told that they will give us one week to practice and then the games will go on,” he furthered.
The league has been conducting its games in Pasig City, however last August 6 the entire National Capital Region (NCR) was placed under lockdown as the Delta variant cases have been rising.
