Ron Dennison and Paul Desiderio reminisced their high school days at University of Visayas after being roommates inside the bubble held at the former US military base in Pampanga.

These two pals parted ways after their secondary career, where Dennison went to with the Tamaraws and Desiderio to the Fighting Maroons.

Desiderio saw this bubble tourney as an opportunity to catch up with his long time friend and personally picked Dennison to be his roommate.

Siyempre pinili ko siya kasi magkakilala na kami nung high school pa lang, so wala na ilangan ‘pag roommate ko siya,” said Desiderio.

Denisson was initially partnered with Bossing Marion Magat, but it was Desidorio who persisted and changed rooms with Magat.

“Roommate ko dapat si Magat. Okay naman kahit sino,” said Dennison.

Ni-request kasi ako ni Paul eh, gusto niya raw ako maging roommate,” he added.

The tandem of Dennison and Desiderio was already proven for they bagged the crown with University of Visayas (UV) back in 2010 at CESAFI Juniors and rekindled the spark 8 years after, owning the title in the 2018 D-League Foundation Cup for Go For Gold.

Moreover, Desiderio shared that having Dennison as his roommates bring back memories of their secondary career.

Nagwo-workout kami dito sa room, parang UV days lang namin,” said Desiderio.

And for Dennison, he wanted his chemistry with Desidorio and other FEU teammates who are also in the Blackwater to be one of the pilots leading the team in triumph.
