Coach Jong Uichico presented new changes in its lineup that will head on regional rival Thailand in the return match on Monday in Manama, Bahrain.

Oftana and Tungcab, who wasn’t in the roster following Philippine’s triumph, 93-61, against Thailand last Friday, will be replacing Mike Nieto and Will Navarro.

After making its unbeaten status, all-cadets Gilas Pilipinas will go for a sweep en route on its qualifiers round.

Still included in the roster, who also stood out in the last match, are Dwight Ramos, Justine Baltazar, and Juan Gomez de Liano

Completing the line-up for Monday’s tiff are Kobe Paras, Isaac Go, Matt Nieto, Rey Suerte, Javi Gomez de Liano, Dave Ildefonso, and Kemark Carino.

Allyn Bulanadi, who suffered a dislocated right shoulder prior to the second window, will remain as a reserve.

Oftana, from San Beda, was the Most Valuable Player of the NCAA Season 95 men’s basketball tournament, while Tungcab was a standout from the University of the Philippines.

The young Gilas Pilipinas, coached by Jong Uichico, expects to grab its third win in Group A against the Thais, coming out unbeaten thus showing how strong the future of Philippine basketball is.
