KOBE PARAS RAISES DEFENSE ON KAI SOTTO’S CRITICS
“I will not tolerate any Kai Sotto slander,” Kobe Paras stated as he gave warm support for Kai Sotto amid the NBA G League adversaries after turn around play in Gilas.
Paras called on the ill-haters of the basketball prodigy Sotto through his official Twitter account and averred that they must give support instead of detesting.
“Instead of talking bad about him and his handlers, why not wait for the final word?,” Paras tweeted.
“Why not just support him and his dreams no matter what? Most of y’all opinions don’t matter,” he continued.
Currently, Team Ignite is sitting on a 4-2 win-loss record in the G League bubble at the Walt Disney World Complex, where Filipino baller Jalen Green is also participating.
Sotto was not able to join the Ignite at the start of the competition as he chose Gilas over the G League but now in uncertainty on the latter’s stint after the aborted third window of FIBA 2021.
The 7-foot-3 Sotto with his camp flew back to the US six days ago but they have yet to reconnect with the G League or his Ignite team as NBA sources shared to SPIN.ph.
Nonetheless, Paras believed that Sotto is still in his prime years and has still room to grow.
“My guy is 18! How foolish y’all look talking bad about a teen,” Paras concluded.
