The 6-foot-7 Leutcheu gunned CSB’s roster from Season 92 until 95 and head coach TY Tang remembered him as someone who radiates a positive presence.

“He may not be the best athlete, but he’s got the purest of heart. All he cares about is for the world, for the people especially the ones around him and for him to be better everyday,” Tang said.

The CSB coach assistant also paid tribute to him through his Facebook account stating that, “Rest in peace dear Clement… beyond heartbroken and devastated. Please pray for him.”

And just like a coach, many players are mourning his death including the king lion Robert Bolick who posted on his Facebook account. “…Bro!! I’ll miss our drinking session rip my brother.”

Leutcheu bid goodbye to his collegiate career after Season 95 as the NCAA imposed the banning of foreign student-athletes to compete in the league.

In that season, the big man bolstered 6.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 19 minutes a game for the Blazers.

After being a great family, a friend, and a player Coach Tang tagged Leutcheu’s Instagram account saying that it was such a sad day.

“..we will miss you my friend. May your soul rest in peace,” he said.
