THE DEPARTMENT of Education Regional Office III will host the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association Meet on April 24 to 28.

Regional Director May Eclar said that the event will give opportunity to students to showcase their skills in sports.

“We are delighted to hold the CLRAA once again after more than three years as a result of the pandemic because our learners who excel in various sports activities will once again be given the opportunity to further improve their skills and discipline relative to their respective sports category,” Eclar said.

The sports events include Archery, Arnis, Athletics, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Basketball 3×3, Billiards, Boxing, Chess, Dancesport, Football, Futsal, Gymnastics, Paragames, Sepak Takraw, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Wrestling and Wushu.

The regional athletic meet is in preparation for the Pre-National Qualifying Meet, after which the Palarong Pambansa will be held on July 29 to August in Marikina City.

Students in elementary, junior and senior high school can participate in the regional athletic meet.
