The first-of-its-kind professional 3×3 league will be kicking off its inaugural season in a bubble setup and TM, as the sponsor, will be streaming the games online.

As the live audiences will still not be allowed because of the pandemic, the cellular company thought that this will be an opportunity for basketball fans to relieve their stress and bond with their families by watching the league’s games via online streaming.

“TM is one with the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup in championing the talents of our local players and bringing them to the international stage,” Globe VP for Consumer Mobile Business Kristelle Dizon said.

“We continue to look for ways to help rekindle the passion of fans for basketball games by supporting Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup online. This will allow fans to watch and support their favorite teams while staying safe at home,” she added.

The tournament will be in preparation for the National Men’s 3×3 Basketball Team as the 2021 FIBA 3×3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament closes in.

“This season of Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 is really to help our national team get ready for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Graz, Austria next year. We can’t just let them train without actually facing competition. It won’t make sense,” Ronald Mascariñas said.

Four of the OQT-bound team Joshua Munzon, Alvin Pasaol, Troy Rike, and Santi Santillan will be gearing up for Zamboanga City Family’s Brand Sardines and is set out to compete against the 11 other teams.

Competing teams that will be seeing action in the conference will be Uling Roasters-Butuan City, Bacolod-Master Sardines, Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards, Palayan City Capitals, Porac Big Boss Cement Green Gorillas, Zamboanga Peninsula Valientes MLV, Bicol 3×3 Pro, Pasig Sta. Lucia Realtors, Saranggani Marlins, Pagadian City Rocky Sports Valientes, and Petra Cement.
