The versatile Beninese forward and remaining UST player were seen in a picture with Fr. Cansancio on Saturday, obviously reaffirming their commitment to the team’s program amid the Tiger’s recent controversies.

“Growling Tigers until the end,” Fr. Cansancio captioned in a social media post.

Yo who is set to play his final year, Dave Ando, and Sherwin Concepcion are among the players who expressed their approval with the appointment and will be left to carry the torch for the Tigers.

Moreover, Team B players Christian Manaytay, Jonathan Gesalem, and new recruit Aldave Canoy are expected to make up for the absence of the Tigers who have departed from España.

Transferee Bryan Santos from Technological Institute of the Philippines has also said that he’s staying put.

Amid the player exodus following the UST’s controversial bubble training, the UAAP Season 82 MVP and his teammates are confident that the Tigers can rise again.

Meanwhile, the UST is still open for application in search for its new head coach, now with 12 candidates, led by alumni Siot Tanquingcen and Aris Dimaunahan, former Alaska import Sean Chambers, and Rain or Shine assistant coach Chris Gavina among those who expressed their interest for the vacated post.
