In a recent post on Instagram, interim head coach Topex Robinson excites the media with a photo with headliner Calvin Abueva inside a vehicle.

“Northbound,” Robinson wrote in his caption.

Following, Abueva teases fans as he also posted a photo with a caption, “Waiting [for] the signal.”

Later, it was confirmed that the two had arrived in the Quest Hotel around 6 in the evening, joining the rest of the Phoenix Super LPG squad.

Pursuant to this, Abueva and Robinson underwent the same test that the team had gone.

On the same day, it was confirmed that the league has started the process of the reinstatement of the 6-foot-2 player—hoping to break its 15 months suspension.

Moreover, team Manager Paolo Bugia had announced that ‘The Beast’ has been allowed by the league to join the Fuel Masters training scrimmages.

The Games and Amusement Board (GAB) has yet to give the license of the 32-year-old with advice that Abueva should attend an online seminar.

“He will undergo a seminar on Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards of a Professional Athletes once the GAB Board decides to give back his license,” GAB chief Baham Mitra said.

Abueva and Robinson with Commissioner Ed Trinidad were seen in a meeting held in Makati discussing the former’s action to secure its pro license to enable him to play in the upcoming PBA Bubble.
