833 DEPENDENTS OF MILITARY PERSONNEL COMPLETE SPORTS TRAINING

A TOTAL of 833 dependents completed the month-long Philippine Army Dependents Summer Sports Training that covered 13 sport disciplines during a closing ceremony at the Philippine Army A Gymnasium, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on June 25, 2024.

A TOTAL of 833 dependents completed the month-long Philippine Army Dependents Summer Sports Training that covered 13 sport disciplines during a closing ceremony at the Philippine Army A Gymnasium, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on June 25, 2024.

Army athletes from the Special Service Center facilitated the lessons and exercises on various sports to the young participants.

Participants were taught a variety of sports such as arnis, boxing, taekwondo, karatedo, football, chess, table tennis, and lawn tennis.

Each sport offered unique physical and mental challenges that promoted fitness, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking.

The Army leadership is prioritizing the health and well-being of military personnel and their dependents through various programs such as the Summer Sports Training.
