GLOBE EXTENDS ROAMING SUPPORT FOR CUSTOMERS IN ISRAEL AND IRAN AMID ONGOING CRISIS
In light of recent developments in Israel and Iran, Globe is extending roaming support to affected customers to help them stay connected with their loved ones and access essential services during this time.
For customers currently in Israel, Globe is rolling out a complimentary roaming package inclusive of data, calls, and texts. The offer is automatically seeded to eligible Globe Prepaid, TM, and Postpaid customers detected in the country, with no need for registration. Recipients will receive a confirmation message once the offer is ready for use.
The package includes 1GB of all-access data, 15 minutes of calls, and 15 SMS credits, all valid for seven days. To use this, subscribers need to make sure they are connected to any of Globe’s roaming partners in Israel: Pelephone, Partner Communications/ Orange, or Cellcom.
Meanwhile, for customers in Iran, Globe is providing load support or credit adjustments to ensure continued access to mobile services during this period. To avail of this free service, simply connect to Globe’s partner network in Iran: MTN Iracell.
“To all our customers navigating uncertainty far from home, please know Globe is with you. These goodwill measures reflect our commitment to keeping you connected especially in times when communication matters most,” said Paula Rivera-Castillo, Head of Globe International Business.
Globe continues to monitor the situation and work closely with international partners to provide timely support and uphold service reliability across its global network.
