Retail Revolution is a regional roadshow featuring key industry leaders as speakers, as well as Globe Business solutions for Retail MSMEs. It aims to revolutionize businesses through digital transformation including connected retail, which seamlessly integrates physical and digital shopping experiences.
Globe is committed to set the benchmark for this retail future by offering a comprehensive suite of solutions encompassing the entire spectrum of business operations, including marketing, supply chain management, payment flexibility, and administrative efficiency.
“The Davao edition of Retail Revolution is a manifestation of our unwavering commitment to the Retail MSME sector. As the retail landscape evolves, we stand ready to be the steadfast partner for businesses, offering them the tools, solutions, and expertise they need for digitalization. Para sa atin ang tuloy tuloy na success!” said KD Dizon, Head of Globe Business.
The Davao leg was marked by a series of insightful discussions led by industry leader, Jayson Lo, a distinguished inspirational speaker, who headlined the event with his talk on “Fostering Resilience and Innovation: Key to Success.”
“Businesses should have a growth mindset. We can fail because it’s part of success,” said Lo.
Other notable speakers include representatives from the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA), Prosperna, Rakuten Viber, and Globe Business customer Sophia Jewellery.
At the event, participants also got to experience a pop-up store that showcased Globe Business’s digital solutions, their applicability, and benefits for retail MSMEs. This set up allowed for a hands-on experience of an integrated retail shopping journey, from browsing to purchase.
Key partnerships further strengthened the event: the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) allowed local MSMEs to showcase their products at the Retail Revolution booth, while GoNegosyo provided mentorship programs.
The retail industry is at a pivotal juncture. While there are positive indicators such as easing inflation and “revenge shopping,” challenges such as high prices of essential commodities and shifts in consumer behavior persist. It is against this backdrop that, Globe Business empowers retail MSMEs’ digitalization journey through a game-changing blend of innovative products, expertise, and dedicated support.
