A VENDOR in Cebu City gives free snacks to students who got perfect scores in their exams.

Livy Gedoria, 56, rewards the students to encourage them to do well in school, her daughter Jessiel said.

“Mama is not a teacher, but she receives sweet morning greetings from students every day. She’s not their mother, but she treats them like her own. She gives snacks for free to those who are hungry but have no money in their pockets. She treats them kindly and asks them if they have taken their breakfast or lunch,” she said.

Students flock to Gedoria’s store with their test papers marked “perfect score” to claim their reward.

“Great job mama Livy Gedoria for doing that to reward the students who got perfect scores and of course for giving that kind of motivation,” Jessiel added.

”Congratulations students for finishing your exam with good marks! With or without a free snack ni nanay, always give your best shot,” she continued.
