UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE PARTNERS WITH DEPED TO ESTABLISH SCHOOL HEADS ACADEMY
THE UNIVERSITY of Antique and the Department of Education signed a memorandum of agreement for the establishment of a School Heads Academy.
UA on Friday said that the SHA aims to develop “champion school leaders” in 20 Schools Division Offices.
It also seeks to prepare high-caliber leaders who will eventually take top roles in schools.
The project, initiated by DepEd VI regional director Dr. Ramir Uytico, is in line with Deped’s Sulong Edukalidad.
Officials from DepEd and UA met in September for the signing of the MOA.
“The phase I of the implementation of the said program is expected to enroll a minimum of 10 scholars from the elementary, secondary, integrated schools, and standalone senior high schools in the 20 SDOs in Region VI,” UA said.
