SULTAN KUDARAT SCHOOLS OFFER FREE RIDE FOR STUDENTS
THE TACURONG National High School and the Kalandagan Elementary School in Sultan Kudarat province launched a project that offers free ride and ride-sharing to their students.
Project Mobile Learning Express aims to help ease the financial burden of parents and student commuters by providing free transportation.
The schools tapped the patrol cars of barangay for the project. Students gather every morning at the barangay hall and wait to be taken to school.
New Carmen Barangay Captain Frederick Bringgas said.
Teacher Lawrence Aduca, project manager of MLEX, said that the program helps students reach school safely.
