THE Provincial government of Apayao released a total of P49,795,000 through its Apayao Student Assistance Program for the year 2023.

In a report by Apayao News, the amount was distributed to programs like schooling, review sessions, postgraduate courses, law studies, and medicine in the municipalities of Luna, Conner, Flora, Pudtol, Santa Marcela, Kabugao, among others.

The Local Government Unit of Calanasan also took home a big chunk of the money with P6 million.

A total of 5,680 tudents from senior high school, college, learning units, and postgraduate studies received their set of financial aid from the province.

Several private schools were also given aid such as St. Joseph High School, Santo Rosario School, and Apayao Community Learning Center, among others.

Board reviewers also took a piece, with a total of P3,160,000 handed to a total of 314 people.
