SPECIAL children from the Bataan province have received financial assistance to help them with therapy, education, and medical concerns.

An amount of P5,000 was given to a total of 382 children with special needs.

This initiative is part of Bataan 3rd District Representative Gila Garcia’s efforts in a bid to give highlights to children with special needs.

In a report by 1Bataan, Garcia said that the distribution is also part of the lawmaker’s birthday celebration as they are near her heart.

An Intensive Learners Resource Center is also set to be built in Bataan province to further help, which will be designed for children in need.

“Damang-dama ko po ang inyong tiwala at suporta sa aking mga adhikain para sa kapakanan ng mga mamamayan ng Ikatlong Distrito ng Bataan. Ang bawat mensahe pagbati po ninyo sa aking kaarawan ay lalong nagbibigay ng inspirasyon at lakas sa akin upang patuloy na pagbutihan ko ang paglilingkod sa ating bayan lalo na sa Ikatlong Distrito ng Bataan,” Garcia wrote on her Facebook page.
