SOLDIERS TRAIN BOY AND GIRL SCOUTS IN TARLAC
MEMBERS of the 31st Mechanized Infantry Company provided a Basic Survival Skills training to 53 Boy and Girl Scouts from the Burot Integrated School in Barangay Burot, Tarlac City recently.
The soldiers from the Makatarungan Battalion trained the young scouts on how to provide basic life support and tactical combat casualty care. The scouts were also given training on knot tying and water survival.
The soldiers also conducted an information awareness drive against communists. They told the young scouts how the communists deceive and infiltrate the youth sector.
BIS Principal Luzvi Concepcion thanked the soldiers for providing the students training.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Col. Jeszer M. Bautista, Acting Commanding officer of 3rd Mechanized Battalion, said that the information drive against the enemies of the state is necessary to prevent the youth from joining the terrorists.
