A TEACHER of the Doña Francisca Lacsamana de Ortega Memorial National High School in La Union placed second in the Maris Ti Aglawlaw Painting Contest during the Ayat Festival.

Wil Freddrik Cruz’s work depicted the golden hands of Elyucanos (the people of La Union) which featured the La Union map and artists using the products of the province.

Cruz received a trophy and a cash prize.

The school congratulated Cruz and other teachers who joined the contest.

“Congratulations to DFLOMNHS teachers for representing Bangar!
