SDO BACOOR SUSPENDS F2F CLASSES DUE TO HEAT

/ 9 May 2023

THE CITY Schools Division of Bacoor announced that face-to-face classes in 43 schools in the city will be suspended until June 2 due to extreme heat.

The move aims to ensure the well-being of the students while ensuring the continuity of their learning.

The city government said the decision was made in response to the Memorandum OASOPS No. 2023-077 titled Reiteration of the Implementation of Modular Distance Learning as provided by DepEd Order No. 037, series of 2022.

“The discussions focused on carefully considering the needs of learners and teachers to ensure that learning competencies and objectives are met despite the shift in the learning modality,” it said.

The SDO also thanked stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring that learning continues despite the challenges brought about by the extreme heat in schools.

It pledged to continue providing quality education to students and to work towards finding innovative ways to support their learning.
