THE SCHOOLS Division of Ilocos Norte has been recognized as the Highest Regional Performer in the National Achievement Test (NAT) for Grade 6 for SY 2024–2025, according to the Department of Education Region I.

The SDO received the award during the Regional Management Committee meeting held Tuesday at the National Educators Academy of the Philippines Region 1.

The Division also garnered Subject Excellence Awards in English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, and Araling Panlipunan.

Meanwhile, the Schools Divisions of Urdaneta City and Ilocos Sur placed second and third, respectively, in the regional NAT performance ranking.

The Most Improved SDO Award—given to divisions with the most significant increase in their Mean Percentage Score (MPS) from SY 2022 to 2025—was awarded to SDO Ilocos Norte, SDO Ilocos Sur, and Urdaneta City.

SDOs of La Union and Alaminos City were likewise cited for their consistent high performance in the NAT.
