TINIYAK ng pribadong sektor ang pagtulong sa mga farm school sa Western Visayas.

Ayon kay DepEd-6 information officer Hernani Escullar Jr., sinabi ni Antonio Tiu, ang chief executive officer at presidente ng agricultural firm na AgriNurture, Inc. (ANI), na handa nitong suportahan ang mga farm school.

Nagpahayag ng interes si Tiu sa programa matapos dumalo sa “Interfacing of Farm School Champions” na ginanap sa Tiu Cho Teg- Ana Ros Foundation Integrated Farm School sa Iloilo City.

“The purpose was to share with our partner how the farm school work. Mr. Antonio Tiu is the first private entity who was willing to partner with our school,” aniya.

“He was happy with the farm school and is willing to help,” dagdag pa ni Escullar.

May 26 farm schools ang Department of Education na matatagpuan sa 21 school divisions nito.
