PNPA TO HAVE NEW BUILDINGS AND CRIME PLAZA
THREE buildings, a crime scene plaza and a new command post will soon rise in the Philippine National Police Academy in Silang, Cavite as part of efforts to improve the education and training of cadets.
PNPA Director Maj. Gen. Rhoderick Armamento said that three “world class” buildings will be constructed with a budget of P200 million.
He said that the academy’s crime scene plaza is being constructed.
The plaza “is dedicated for the cadets to enhance their excellence and to ensure the best quality of training on crime scene investigation,” Armamento said.
“The PNPA, in connection with the local government unit, is in the planning phase of constructing an incident command post inside the premises of the academy, which will serve as a pre-designated facility aimed at the immediate response to natural calamities within and outside the premises of the academy,” he added.
“Our goals and PANATA vision will now turn into reality. And i know, we are not alone in our journey,” the PNPA chief said, citing the support of various stakeholders and ‘public servants’.
Classes at the academy started on August 16.
