NEW SYLLABUS ON CORDILLERA HERITAGE PROPOSED
THE Vice President for Academic Affairs of the State Colleges and Universities and Private Higher Education Institutions in Cordillera proposed a new syllabus on the region’s heritage.
The Commission on Higher Education office in the Cordillera Administrative Region said that the VPAAs convened to help preserve the culture of Cordillerans.
Dubbed as “Cordillera Heritage 101,” the new course will be adopted by higher education institutions in the region once approved by the commission.
It was initially proposed in November 2021.
“The proposal aims to preserve and focus on the history and heritage of the Cordillerans through an educational platform that will be taught through this general course,” CHED said.
A consolidated draft created last week will be submitted to the commission for further review.
