NAGA, CEBU LGU SUPPORTS SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS
THE LOCAL government of Naga, Cebu Province has been actively supporting the construction and repair of classrooms, not only at Naga National High School but also across the entire school division.
According to the Department of Education (DepEd), Naga NHS Principal Jeffset Lastimado shared this update during a consultation with teachers and non-teaching staff.
Education Secretary Sonny Angara acknowledged the shortage of classrooms but welcomed the positive development that some school buildings are already under repair while others are being constructed.
DepEd expressed its gratitude to Mayor Val Chiong and the City Government of Naga for prioritizing education, noting that such initiatives are crucial in addressing classroom shortages nationwide.
