MBHTE HIRES 380 SCHOOL PERSONNEL
ALMOST 400 school personnel, more than 300 of them teachers, were hired by the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education.
MBHTE said that the hiring of 380 school staff is part of its drive to improve education in the region.
It is also in line of its #NoBangsamoroLearnerLeftBehind campaign.
Of the 380 new hires, 132 are elementary teachers and 101 are secondary teachers.
A total of 117 principals from Lanao del Sur 1 and 2 were also hired, alongside 21 secondary teachers assigned in special geographic areas in Bangsamoro.
Nine nurses were also taken in and will start their duty in Sulu.
MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal expressed hope that the new staff will help transform education in Bangsamoro and “reject the fraudulent practices of the past.”
