EPSON PH DONATES PRINTERS TO BARMM
EPSON Philippines donated 24 printers and 90 bottles of ink to 24 schools in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Some 8,830 learners and 336 teachers benefited from the donation.
“Learning materials have been vital for both face-to-face and distance learning setups,” Eduardo Bonoan, general manager of Epson Philippines’ marketing division, said.
The donation was made under the partnership of Epson and Save the Children Philippines in support to the latter’s Safe Schools Common Approach.
Save the Children and the BARMM collaborated to ensure that children’s rights are respected in times of armed conflict and other emergencies.
The program aims to bridge the digital divide and community differences through inclusive education and technology that promotes justice, peace, and general development for the Bangsamoro people.
