THE DEPARTMENT of Education office in Tabuk City signed a partnership agreement with Gimpong- Mankapiya-an Radio to air education programs.

DepEd Tabuk City Schools Superintendent Irene Angway signed the Memorandum of Agreement with Gimpong- Mankapiya-an Radio Representative Regino Wacas.

Also present during the signing were DepEd CAR Regional Director Estela Leon- Cariño, Kalinga Representative Allen Jesse Mangaoang, OIC-ASDS Feliciano Agsaoay Jr., Chief Supervisors Ramonchito Soriano and Sally Feken and Hazel Gup-ay, consultant of Gimpong Mankapiya-an Radio.

Under the agreement, the station will allot one-hour airing time (12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.) every Wednesday for an educational program and 10 minutes for a bedtime story before it signs off.

The agency also said that Mangaoang will shoulder 90 percent of the program’s air fees while the rest will be shouldered by DepEd Tabuk City.
