DEPED SUSPENDS DISTRIBUTION OF MODULES IN ISABELA
THE SURGE in Covid19 infections in Isabela prompted the Department of Education to suspend the distribution and retrieval of self-learning modules.
The province’s assistant schools division superintendent Madelyn Macalling said that the suspension is a preventive measure to control the spread of the virus and to ensure safety protocols are strictly observed.
“Heads of schools shall establish mechanisms to effectively manage safe distribution and retrieval of SLMs in their community,” Macaling said.
Public schools district supervisors were also directed to strictly observe health and safety protocols.
The division of Cauayan City also released an advisory suspending the distribution and retrieval of SLMs.
For the meantime, teachers were advised to monitor learners through online platforms.
