ISINAILALIM sa dalawang linggong lockdown ang Department of Education Schools Division Office sa Passi City, Iloilo makaraang magpositibo sa Covid19 ang apat na empleyado nito.

“We will place the Division Office under lockdown for two weeks after four employees recently tested positive of Covid19,” pahayag ni Mayor Stephen Palmares.

“All transactions at the Division Office is temporarily put on hold and no employee will be allowed to enter the premises,” dagdag pa niya.

Nagsimula kahapon, Hunyo 22, ang lockdown ay tatagal hanggang Hulyo 5. Isasailalim din ang gusali sa disinfection, ayon sa alkalde.

Inatasan din niya ang mga empleyado na agad na mag-report sa kani-kanilang barangay health workers at mag-home quarantine na lang muna kapag may naramdamang sintomas ng virus.

“Employees who experience symptoms of Covid19 are directed to immediately report to their barangay officials or barangay health workers and should isolate themselves from their family members at home,” sabi ng alkalde.
