THE DEPARTMENT of Education office in Mandaue City is all set for the opening of classes on September 13.

DepEd-Mandaue Superintendent Dr. Nimfa Bongo said that teachers are in the thick of preparations and are printing modules for weeks 5 to 8.

Bongo said that fewer modules will be reproduced this school year because the city government distributed free tablets to over 20,000 students.

The tablets can be used to download their lessons.

The distribution of modules will be from September 9 to 10.

For School Year 2921-2022, 38,000 students enrolled, almost half of the 69,000 students who enlisted last school year.
