THE DEPARTMENT of Education has inaugurated the modernized National Educators Academy of the Philippines in Baguio City

It will serve as a training and upskilling facility for teachers and school administrators.

The facility can help stakeholders improve the quality of learning outcomes in the country by facilitating face-to-face and virtual training.

“May this inauguration be an encouragement to all of us to persevere in our pursuit of providing quality basic education for the Filipino youth,” Education Secretary Leonor Briones said.

“This will be a part of the major reform initiatives that we have started during the administration of President [Rodrigo] Duterte,” she added.

The Professional Development Information System and the NEAP professional development program were also launched.
