DEPED DAVAO SETS UP COMMUNITY-BASED MONITORING, HELP DESK
THE DEPARTMENT of Education-Davao has established a community-based monitoring and help desk system to easily address the needs and concerns of students and teachers.
In a statement, DepEd-Davao said that the help desk will be responsible in addressing the complaints and concerns of students, parents and teachers.
“It is responsible in receiving and processing information, issues, concerns or complaints coming from all sectors relative to the implementation of the curriculum and other educational concerns under the new normal,” it said.
Also with the help desk, DepEd will be able to swiftly respond to the queries, clarification, and concerns on matters regarding distance learning delivery modality, learners’ learning and performance, assessment and grading system, teachers’ training, parents’ orientation and training.
Regional Director Evelyn Fetalvero said this will provide guidance and help resolve issues immediately.
All the 11 schools division offices and schools will establish the community-based monitoring and learning help desk system.
Assistant Regional Director Maria Ines Asuncion said that all SDOs and schools were required to have online link for the weekly reporting.
