THE DEPARTMENT of Education Schools Division Office in Cavite City has launched its own official publication.

The publication was named Ciudad Caviteñews.

To ensure the quality of the articles, Schools Division Superintendent Lourdes Bermudez and Schools Division assistant superintendent Alona Encinares recruited professional and experienced school publication consultants to join the editorial board.

Supervisors were appointed as content and language validators.

Bermudez said that informing stakeholders of DepEd-Cavite City’s programs and projects during the pandemic is crucial.

“Our internal and external stakeholders must be aware of our programs and services and because face-to-face interaction is limited, we can get in touch with them through a newsletter,” CID chief supervisor Regin Rex Tosco said.
