CRHS TEACHER HAILED AS DEPED’S MOST OUTSTANDING NATIONAL BROADCASTER
A TEACHER at Cristo Rey High School in Capas, Tarlac was hailed as the Department of Education’s Most Outstanding National Broadcaster for Senior High School.
Kit Alfonso Nadado, Teacher 2 at CRHS, was awarded for his performance as broadcaster.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Brigham Young University in Hawaii, with a minor in Literature and English as an international language.
“We are always thankful to our teacher-broadcasters and production crews who have served tirelessly to continue educating our children despite the situation,” Education Secretary Leonor Briones said.
She said that the DepEd TV project has “really brought countless stories of resiliency and creativity of our personnel, and we want to recognize them for their service.”
Nadado began teaching Introduction to Literature and Other English online courses at BYU in 2014. He started teaching at CRHS upon his return to the Philippines in 2016.
He was the national TB for DepEd TV in 2020 for the SHS Reading and Writing episodes.
