CORDILLERA CAREER DEVELOPMENT COLLEGE LAUNCHES JAB DRIVE
THE CORDILLERA Career Development College in La Trinidad, Benguet launched its vaccination drive to protect its frontliners and students against Covid19.
The initiative is in line with the vaccination rollout of the Commission on Higher Education called “Padyak Para sa Flexible Learning Sama-Samang Vaccination Program.”
The university allowed the use of its facilities as a vaccination site to boost the inoculation efforts of the local government.
“This counts CCDC as the fifth higher educational institution in the region to host as a vaccination center together with Pines City Colleges, Saint Louis University, University of Baguio, and Benguet State University, who confirmed earlier these past months,” CHED said.
Meanwhile, majority of the students and teachers in 12 HEIs in the Cordillera Administrative Region have been fully vaccinated.
On Wednesday, CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III said the agency aims to vaccinate students in all degree programs by the end of the year.
This will allow face-to-face classes to gradually resume in the tertiary level by the first quarter of 2022, he said.
