CHED INSPECTS 3 SCHOOLS IN CORDILLERA FOR F2F CLASSES
OFFICIALS of the Commission on Higher Education in the Cordillera Administrative Region inspected three schools in Baguio City in preparation for the conduct of limited face-to-face classes for students taking medical and health allied programs.
CHED-CAR Director Dr. Danilo Bose said that the aim of the visit was to guide the schools in their preparation for the holding of in-person classes in Medicine, Nursing, Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Midwifery, and Public Health.
The schools visited were the University of the Cordilleras, University of Baguio, and Saint Louis University.
Bose emphasized that schools must strictly comply with the guidelines laid down by the commission to ensure the safety of students and faculty members.
Dr. Jimmy Catanes, Education Supervisor II who is in charge of supervising health allied programs of CAR, checked the compliance of the three schools with the standards and protocols issued by CHED.
The commission said that a final inspection will be made by representatives from the local government unit, Department of Health, and Inter-Agency Task Force to determine if the three schools are ready to resume limited face-to-face classes.
